- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 container (8 oz) Cool Whip (or homemade whipped cream, see notes)
For the Topping:
- 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
Instructions
Step 1: Make the Crust
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until well combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- Chill in the fridge for 15-20 minutes to set.
Step 2: Prepare the Creamy Filling
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gently fold in Cool Whip until fully incorporated.
Step 3: Assemble the Dessert
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled crust.
- Spoon the cherry pie filling evenly over the top.
Step 4: Chill & Serve
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2-4 hours (or overnight for best results).
- Slice and serve chilled!
