- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tube (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough
- 8 mozzarella string cheese sticks
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley (optional)
For Dipping:
- Salsa
- Guacamole

Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
2. Cook the Taco Meat:
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
3. Prepare the Dough:
- Roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle (about 12×8 inches).
- Cut the dough into 8 equal strips.
4. Assemble the Taco Sticks:
- Place a mozzarella stick on each strip of dough.
- Add 1-2 tablespoons of the taco meat on top of the cheese. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar, if desired.
- Fold the dough around the filling, pinching the edges to seal tightly.
5. Bake:
- Arrange the taco sticks seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder and parsley.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
6. Serve:
- Let the taco sticks cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve warm with salsa, guacamole, or sour cream for dipping.
Notes
- Make Ahead: Prepare the taco sticks and freeze before baking. Bake directly from frozen, adding a few extra minutes to the cooking time.
- Add Veggies: Include chopped jalapeños, onions, or bell peppers in the taco meat for extra flavor.
- Cheese Swap: Use shredded pepper jack or cheddar inside for a spicier kick.
