Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Ground Beef Filling:

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

For the Creamy Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Dijon or yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Wraps:

  • 4 large tortillas or wraps
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or a cheese blend
  • Optional toppings: sliced pickles, jalapeños, avocado

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ground Beef Filling:
    • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
    • Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
    • Stir in the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 7-8 minutes.
    • Season with paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
    • Reduce heat to low and stir in shredded cheddar cheese. Let it melt into the beef mixture, then remove from heat.
  2. Make the Creamy Sauce:
    • In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  3. Assemble the Wraps:
    • Lay a tortilla flat and spread a spoonful of the creamy sauce in the center.
    • Add a layer of shredded lettuce and diced tomato.
    • Spoon the cheesy ground beef mixture on top. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and any optional toppings.
  4. Wrap and Serve:
    • Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll it tightly from the bottom to form a wrap.
    • Slice in half and serve immediately.

Notes

  • To make it spicier, add hot sauce or diced jalapeños to the ground beef or sauce.
  • For a healthier twist, use whole wheat tortillas or lettuce wraps.
  • These wraps are great for meal prep—store ingredients separately and assemble fresh.
