Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp taco seasoning
- 1/3 cup water
- 4 crunchy taco shells
- 4 soft flatbreads (pita or gordita-style)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican cheese blend
- 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sour cream or spicy ranch

Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat, then add taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
- While the beef cooks, warm flatbreads and taco shells. Sprinkle 1/4 cup cheese onto each flatbread and microwave or toast until melted.
- Press one crunchy taco shell into the center of each cheesy flatbread to adhere.
- Spoon seasoned beef into the crunchy shells. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream or spicy ranch, and hot sauce if using.
- Serve immediately while warm and crisp.
Notes
- Use vegetarian crumbles or seasoned beans for a meatless option.
- Flatbreads can be made more pliable by wrapping in a damp towel and microwaving briefly.
- Spicy ranch can be made by mixing ranch dressing with a dash of hot sauce or taco sauce.
- Customize toppings with guacamole, onions, or jalapeños.
