Description

This warm, melty olive dip is creamy, tangy, and loaded with bold briny flavor. Made with a blend of cheeses, green and black olives, and baked until bubbly, it’s a crowd-pleasing appetizer perfect for parties, game day, or cozy nights in.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 1/3 cup chopped green olives

  • 1/3 cup chopped black olives (or kalamata)

  • 1 tablespoon olive brine (optional, for extra flavor)

  • Fresh parsley or chives, for garnish (optional)

  • Crackers, baguette slices, or veggies, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a small baking dish or oven-safe skillet.

  2. Mix the Dip:
In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, and mayonnaise. Add garlic powder, oregano, red pepper flakes (if using), and olive brine. Mix until well combined.

  3. Add the Olives:
Fold in chopped green and black olives.

  4. Bake:
Transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish. Smooth the top and bake for 20–25 minutes, until hot and bubbly with golden edges.

  5. Serve:
Garnish with chopped parsley or chives, if desired. Serve warm with your choice of dippers.

Notes

  • Make ahead: Assemble and refrigerate up to 1 day in advance; bake just before serving.

  • For a smoky twist, add a pinch of smoked paprika or chopped roasted red peppers.

  • Easily doubled for a crowd!
