Description

Cheeseburger Egg Rolls are a crispy, savory fusion of classic American cheeseburgers and crunchy egg rolls, perfect as an appetizer or party snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, finely chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 12 egg roll wrappers
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: dipping sauce (ketchup, mustard, or burger sauce)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until beef is browned and onion is tender. Drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in pickles, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. Mix in the shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Place about 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture in the center of each egg roll wrapper.
  5. Fold the sides over the filling, then roll tightly and seal the edges with a bit of water.
  6. Heat about 2 inches of oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Fry the egg rolls in batches for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Make sure the filling is not too hot when adding to wrappers to prevent tearing.
  • You can bake or air fry the egg rolls for a healthier option.
  • Add cooked bacon or jalapeños for extra flavor.
