- 20 large white mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Clean mushrooms and remove stems. Chop stems finely if desired for mixing in, or discard.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Fill each mushroom cap with the cheese mixture, mounding slightly.
- Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top of the stuffed mushrooms if using.
- Arrange mushrooms on a greased baking sheet or dish.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until mushrooms are tender and tops are golden and bubbly.
- Garnish with additional parsley before serving if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add chopped cooked bacon or sautéed mushroom stems to the filling.
- Use a piping bag for a neater stuffing presentation.
- Prepare the stuffed mushrooms ahead of time and bake just before serving.
