Description

Delicious and savory Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms, filled with a creamy, cheesy mixture and baked until golden and bubbly, making them the perfect appetizer or party snack.


Ingredients

  • 20 large white mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean mushrooms and remove stems. Chop stems finely if desired for mixing in, or discard.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Fill each mushroom cap with the cheese mixture, mounding slightly.
  5. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top of the stuffed mushrooms if using.
  6. Arrange mushrooms on a greased baking sheet or dish.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until mushrooms are tender and tops are golden and bubbly.
  8. Garnish with additional parsley before serving if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add chopped cooked bacon or sautéed mushroom stems to the filling.
  • Use a piping bag for a neater stuffing presentation.
  • Prepare the stuffed mushrooms ahead of time and bake just before serving.
