- 2–3 slices of cheddar cheese or cheese of choice
- 1–2 tablespoons butter, softened
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread evenly.
- Place one slice of bread butter-side down onto the skillet. Add cheese slices on top.
- Top with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
- Cook for 2–3 minutes until the bottom is golden brown. Flip and cook the other side for another 2–3 minutes, until golden and cheese is melted.
- Remove from skillet, let cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.

- For extra crispiness, press down slightly with a spatula while cooking.
