- 1/4 cup mini marshmallows (optional)
- Aluminum foil
Instructions
- Preheat campfire or grill to medium heat.
- In a bowl, mix apple slices with lemon juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until evenly coated.
- Tear 2 large sheets of aluminum foil and double them for durability.
- Place half the apple mixture in the center of each foil sheet.
- Top with butter pieces, crushed graham crackers, and mini marshmallows if using.
- Fold and seal foil packets tightly to avoid leakage.
- Place packets over campfire coals or on grill and cook for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally.
- Remove from heat, carefully open, and let cool slightly before serving.
