Description

A bold and flavorful Cajun garlic butter sauce made with a mix of spices, fresh garlic, and butter—perfect for drizzling over seafood, steak, vegetables, or pasta.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes, until fragrant but not browned.
  3. Stir in Cajun seasoning, paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper.
  4. Add lemon juice and stir to combine. Simmer for 1 more minute to let the flavors meld.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley if desired.
  6. Serve warm over your favorite seafood, steak, or vegetables.

Notes

  • Use homemade or store-bought Cajun seasoning. Adjust the salt if your blend is salty.
  • Great as a dipping sauce for crab, shrimp, or lobster.
  • You can store leftovers in the fridge and reheat gently before serving.
