Cajun Deviled Eggs with Shrimp are a spicy twist on the classic deviled eggs, featuring a creamy, zesty filling and topped with seasoned shrimp for a flavorful Southern-inspired appetizer.

- 6 large eggs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning, divided
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 small cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- Chopped fresh parsley or green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove eggs, cool in ice water, peel, and slice in half lengthwise. Remove yolks and place in a bowl.
- Mash yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, 1/2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.
- Toss shrimp in olive oil and remaining 1/2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook shrimp for 1–2 minutes per side, until heated through and lightly crisped.
- Top each deviled egg with a shrimp and garnish with parsley or green onions.
Notes
- Use pre-cooked shrimp to save time.
- Adjust Cajun seasoning to your spice preference.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature for best flavor.
