Description

Buttery Ritz Ham Sandwiches are a simple, bite-sized party snack made with ham and cheese sandwiched between Ritz crackers and baked with a savory buttery glaze.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 48 Ritz crackers
  • 1/2 pound deli ham, thinly sliced
  • 12 slices Swiss or cheddar cheese, cut into quarters
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place half of the Ritz crackers, flat side down, on the baking sheet.
  3. Top each cracker with a piece of ham and a quarter slice of cheese.
  4. Top with another cracker to form a sandwich.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and poppy seeds.
  6. Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the sandwiches.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden and crispy.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use any variety of cheese such as Swiss, cheddar, or provolone.
  • You can prepare these ahead and refrigerate before baking.
  • Perfect for game day, parties, or potlucks.
