Description

This Buffalo Chicken Bacon Dip is a creamy, spicy, and savory crowd-pleaser. Packed with shredded chicken, smoky bacon, and tangy buffalo sauce, it’s perfect for game day, parties, or any gathering. Serve it warm with chips, veggies, or crusty bread.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups (300 g) cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 cup (240 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) buffalo sauce (adjust for heat level)
  • 1/2 cup (120 g) ranch dressing (or blue cheese dressing, if preferred)
  • 1 cup (120 g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup (60 g) mozzarella cheese
  • 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a medium-sized baking dish or an oven-safe skillet.
  2. Mix the dip base:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, buffalo sauce, and ranch dressing. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Assemble the dip:
    • Fold in the shredded chicken, 4 slices of crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Mix well to combine.
  4. Bake the dip:
    • Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
    • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Add the finishing touches:
    • Remove the dip from the oven and sprinkle with the remaining crumbled bacon and chopped green onions.
  6. Serve:
    • Serve hot with tortilla chips, celery sticks, carrot sticks, or crusty bread.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a splash of hot sauce to the mix.
  • You can make this dip ahead of time and refrigerate it. Bake just before serving.
  • To make it extra smoky, use smoked chicken or smoked cheddar cheese.
