Buckeye Pie is a rich, no-bake dessert inspired by the classic Buckeye candy. With a creamy peanut butter filling, chocolate ganache topping, and an Oreo crust, it’s a decadent treat for peanut butter and chocolate lovers.

- 24 Oreo cookies, crushed
- 5 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 8 oz whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix crushed Oreos with melted butter until well combined. Press into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Chill in refrigerator while preparing filling.
- In a large bowl, beat peanut butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Fold in whipped topping until fully combined. Spread the peanut butter filling into the chilled crust.
- In a small saucepan, heat heavy cream until just beginning to simmer. Pour over chocolate chips and let sit for 1 minute. Stir until smooth to make ganache.
- Pour chocolate ganache over peanut butter layer and spread evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Use a food processor to easily crush Oreo cookies.
- For a firmer pie, freeze for 30 minutes before serving.
- Top with chopped peanuts or mini chocolate chips for extra crunch.
