Description

BLT Phyllo Party Bites are crispy, flaky mini phyllo shells filled with a creamy bacon, lettuce, and tomato mixture. They’re a delicious and elegant appetizer perfect for entertaining.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (15 count) mini phyllo shells
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce (such as romaine or iceberg)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Arrange phyllo shells on a baking sheet.
  2. Lightly bake phyllo shells for 3-5 minutes to crisp up. Remove and let cool.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine bacon, diced tomatoes, mayonnaise, sour cream, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  4. Just before serving, stir in shredded lettuce to keep it crisp.
  5. Spoon the BLT mixture into each phyllo shell.
  6. Garnish with chopped chives if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Add lettuce just before serving to prevent it from wilting.
  • Make filling ahead and refrigerate, then fill shells right before serving.
  • Substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream for a lighter option.
