Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 cup refried beans
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
- 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
- Sour cream, salsa, and guacamole for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and water to the skillet. Simmer until thickened, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in refried beans and cheese.
- Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Arrange the triangles in a circular pattern on the prepared baking sheet with the wide ends toward the center and the tips pointing outward, overlapping slightly to form a ring.
- Spoon the beef mixture evenly onto the wide ends of the dough triangles.
- Fold the tips of the triangles over the filling and tuck them under the ring to seal.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with chopped green onions, if using.
- Serve with sour cream, salsa, and guacamole in the center of the ring or on the side.
Notes
- Use a pizza cutter to slice and serve clean portions.
- Swap beef with shredded chicken or black beans for variation.
- Great for parties, game day, or a fun family dinner.
