Description

Blackstone Steak Udon is a savory and satisfying dish featuring tender slices of seared steak stir-fried with thick, chewy udon noodles and vegetables on a hot flat-top griddle for a deliciously quick meal.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 pound ribeye or sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 14 ounces udon noodles (fresh or pre-cooked)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat and drizzle with vegetable oil.
  2. Sear the steak slices for 2-3 minutes per side until browned but still tender. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. Add onion, broccoli, and red bell pepper to the griddle. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender.
  4. Add minced garlic and ginger; stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Loosen udon noodles under warm water if needed, then add them to the griddle with the veggies.
  6. Drizzle soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil over the noodles and vegetables. Stir well to combine.
  7. Return the steak to the griddle and toss everything together until heated through and coated with sauce.
  8. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • Slice steak thinly against the grain for maximum tenderness.
  • Use pre-cooked udon for faster prep, or boil dried udon noodles as directed before cooking.
  • Adjust soy sauce and oyster sauce quantities for a sweeter or saltier flavor profile.
  • Add a splash of chili oil or sriracha for a spicy kick.
