Description

This refreshing Blackberry Limeade is bursting with juicy blackberries, fresh lime juice, and a touch of sweetness — the perfect fruity drink for summer gatherings or backyard sipping.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups fresh blackberries
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup fresh lime juice (about 5-6 limes)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice, for serving
  • Extra blackberries and lime slices, for garnish
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine blackberries and sugar. Blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the blackberry puree through a fine-mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove seeds.
  3. Add fresh lime juice and cold water to the pitcher. Stir well to combine.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness, adding more sugar if needed.
  5. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving over ice. Garnish with extra blackberries, lime slices, and mint leaves if desired.

Notes

  • Use frozen blackberries if fresh aren’t available — just thaw first.
  • Make it sparkling by replacing some water with club soda right before serving.
  • For a cocktail twist, add a splash of rum, tequila, or vodka.
