Scale
For the Wraps:
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef (80/20 or leaner)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 large flour tortillas (burrito size)
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced pickles
- 1/4 cup diced onion
For the Big Mac Sauce:
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Prepare the Big Mac Sauce:
- In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle relish, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- Stir well until smooth. Refrigerate until ready to use.
- Cook the Ground Beef:
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook until browned and no longer pink, about 6-8 minutes. Drain any excess grease and set aside.
- Assemble the Wraps:
- Lay a tortilla flat and spread 1-2 tablespoons of Big Mac sauce in the center.
- Add a layer of cooked ground beef, shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, diced pickles, and diced onion.
- Fold the sides of the tortilla inward and roll tightly to form a wrap.
- Optional: Toast the Wraps:
- Heat a clean skillet over medium heat. Place each wrap seam-side down and cook for 1-2 minutes per side, until golden brown and slightly crispy.
- Serve:
- Slice the wraps in half and serve warm with additional Big Mac sauce on the side for dipping.
Notes
- For a low-carb option, use low-carb tortillas or lettuce wraps.
- You can substitute ground turkey or plant-based ground “meat” for the beef.
- Add sesame seeds to the tortillas before toasting for an authentic Big Mac touch.
