- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup dill pickle relish

For the Big Mac Sauce:

- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 2 tbsp sweet pickle relish
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp paprika
For Serving:
- 4 sesame seed hamburger buns
- 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
- 4 slices of cheddar or American cheese
- Dill pickle slices (optional)
Instructions
-
Prepare the Big Mac Sauce:
- In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, sweet pickle relish, vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Stir well until smooth. Set aside for later.
-
Cook the Sloppy Joe Filling:
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and diced onion. Cook until the beef is browned and the onion is soft, about 5–7 minutes. Drain any excess grease.
- Stir in the ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, dill pickle relish, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 3–5 minutes, allowing the flavors to combine.
-
Assemble the Sloppy Joes:
- Lightly toast the sesame seed buns. Spread a spoonful of Big Mac sauce on the bottom half of each bun.
- Place a layer of shredded lettuce on the sauce, followed by a slice of cheese.
- Spoon the beef mixture generously onto the cheese. Top with pickle slices (if using) and another dollop of sauce. Place the top bun on and press gently.
-
Serve:
- Serve the Big Mac Sloppy Joes immediately with fries or a side salad.
Notes
- You can make the sauce in advance and store it in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- For a lower-carb option, serve the sloppy joe filling in lettuce wraps instead of buns.
