- 1 tablespoon oil (vegetable or coconut)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chunks
Instructions

- In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, oil, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract; whisk until mixture is pale and thick.
- Sift in cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, and flour. Gently fold until just combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips or chunks.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Notes
- Do not overmix the batter to keep brownies tender.
- Adjust baking time for desired texture—less for gooier, more for cakier brownies.
- Add nuts or swirl in peanut butter for variety.
