Optional Toppings:

Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Beef Filling
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil (if needed) and sauté onion for 2-3 minutes until softened.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula (5-7 minutes). Drain excess grease if needed.
- Stir in garlic, taco seasoning, paprika, cumin, tomato sauce, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened. Remove from heat.
Step 2: Assemble the Burritos
- Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave to make them pliable.
- Spread a layer of refried beans or rice (if using) onto each tortilla.
- Add ¼ of the beef mixture to the center of each tortilla.
- Sprinkle with shredded cheese and add sour cream, salsa, or any toppings.
Step 3: Fold & Toast the Burritos
- Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll tightly from the bottom up.
- For a crispy burrito, heat a skillet over medium heat and place burritos seam-side down. Cook for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
Step 4: Serve & Enjoy!
- Serve warm with extra salsa, guacamole, or hot sauce.
Notes
- Make it spicier by adding diced jalapeños or cayenne pepper to the beef.
- Use ground turkey or shredded chicken for a lighter option.
- Make it a wet burrito by smothering it with enchilada sauce and cheese before baking at 375°F for 10 minutes.
- Freeze for later: Wrap each burrito tightly in foil and freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in a microwave or oven.
