- 1 tbsp powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)
For the Cream Filling:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
For the Berry Filling:
- 1 cup fresh mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries)
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar (optional, for extra sweetness)
- 1 tsp lemon zest (optional, for freshness)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Cream Filling:

- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until combined.
2. Prepare the Berries:
- Toss mixed berries with sugar and lemon zest (if using). Let sit for 5 minutes to release juices.
3. Fill the Croissants:
- Slice each croissant in half lengthwise, but don’t cut all the way through.
- Spread a generous layer of cream filling inside.
- Spoon berries on top of the cream.
4. Warm & Serve:
- Lightly brush croissants with melted butter and warm them in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 5 minutes. (This step enhances the flavor!)
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- For an extra indulgent touch, drizzle with honey, chocolate sauce, or raspberry coulis.
- Make it ahead: Prepare the cream filling in advance and store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- Want extra crunch? Add toasted almonds or crushed pistachios on top.
