Description

Cool off with these vibrant Beach Slushies, a tropical frozen drink perfect for summer! Whether you’re relaxing by the ocean, hosting a pool party, or just craving something icy and delicious, these fruity slushies will hit the spot. Customize them with your favorite tropical flavors—make them kid-friendly or add a splash of rum for the adults!

Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Base Slushie:

  • 3 cups ice
  • 1 1/2 cups pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup coconut water (or lemonade for a sweeter option)
  • 2 tbsp honey or simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp coconut extract (optional, for extra tropical flavor)

For Flavored Variations (Choose One or Mix & Match!):

  • Mango Slushie: 1 cup frozen mango chunks
  • Strawberry Slushie: 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • Blue Lagoon Slushie: 1/2 cup blue sports drink or blue curaçao (for adults)
  • Watermelon Slushie: 1 cup frozen watermelon cubes

Optional (For Adults Only):

  • 1/2 cup white rum, coconut rum, or vodka

Instructions

  • Blend the base: In a high-speed blender, add ice, pineapple juice, coconut water, sweetener, and coconut extract. Blend until smooth.
  • Add flavor: Choose a flavor variation and blend with the base until smooth and slushy.
  • Adjust texture: If too thick, add a splash of juice or coconut water. If too thin, add more ice.
  • Serve: Pour into glasses and garnish with a tropical umbrella, fresh fruit slices, or shredded coconut.

  • Enjoy: Serve immediately and imagine you’re on a beach!

Notes

  • Non-Alcoholic Version: Skip the alcohol for a kid-friendly treat.
  • Make it Creamy: Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream or coconut milk for a richer texture.

  • Layered Slushie: Blend different flavors separately and layer them in a glass for a fun beachy look.
