Description

The BBQ Bacon Burger is a juicy, flavorful burger layered with crispy bacon, melted cheese, and tangy barbecue sauce—perfect for summer cookouts or hearty dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 4 tomato slices
  • 4 red onion slices
  • 1 tbsp butter (optional, for toasting buns)

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
  2. Divide ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape into patties. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill or cook patties for 4–5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness is reached. Add a slice of cheese to each patty during the last minute of cooking.
  4. While burgers cook, toast buns lightly with butter in a skillet or on the grill if desired.
  5. Assemble burgers by placing lettuce on the bottom bun, followed by the burger patty with melted cheese, 2 slices of bacon, a slice of tomato, and red onion.
  6. Drizzle barbecue sauce over the top and add the top bun.
  7. Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
