Ingredients
-
1 (3.4 oz) box instant banana pudding mix
-
3/4 cup cold milk
-
1/2 cup vanilla vodka or spiced rum
-
8 oz whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
-
1/2 cup crushed Nilla wafers (plus more for topping)
-
1 banana, sliced (optional, for garnish)
-
Whipped cream, for topping
-
12-14 plastic shot cups
Instructions
-
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the banana pudding mix and milk until smooth and thickened (about 2 minutes).
-
Add the vodka or rum and whisk until fully combined.
-
Gently fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is smooth and fluffy.
-
Stir in crushed Nilla wafers.
-
Spoon or pipe the pudding mixture evenly into shot cups.
-
Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour to set.
-
Before serving, top each shot with whipped cream, more crushed Nilla wafers, and a banana slice if using.
Notes
-
For a non-alcoholic version, skip the booze and use an extra ½ cup milk.
-
Make ahead and refrigerate for up to 24 hours—just add toppings right before serving.
-
You can swap banana liqueur for an extra punch of flavor!
