Scale
- 1.5 pounds pork tenderloin or pork shoulder, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- For the Balsamic Glaze:
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
Instructions
- In a bowl, toss pork cubes with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until evenly coated.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork and sear on all sides until browned, about 6–8 minutes.
- While pork cooks, whisk together balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a small bowl.
- Reduce heat to medium, pour the balsamic glaze over the pork, and stir to coat.
- Simmer for 3–5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and coat the pork nuggets.
- Remove from heat and serve warm, optionally garnished with fresh herbs.
Notes
- Serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or over rice.
- For extra flavor, marinate pork in the seasoning mix for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Use pork tenderloin for a leaner option or shoulder for more tenderness.
