Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each, skin on or off)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Lemon wedges and chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Prepare the salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and place them skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Make the marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Season the salmon: Brush the marinade evenly over the salmon fillets, making sure to coat the tops and sides.
- Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Garnish and serve: Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
- For a crispy top, broil the salmon for 2–3 minutes at the end of the baking time.
- If using frozen salmon, ensure it’s fully thawed and patted dry before baking.
- Customize the flavors by adding chili flakes for heat or honey for sweetness.
