Description

These Baked Pork Chops are juicy, tender, and full of flavor with a savory seasoning blend. With just a few ingredients and minimal prep, you’ll have a satisfying dinner on the table in under an hour. Perfect for busy weeknights or Sunday meals with the family.

Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (about 1-inch thick)

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or lightly grease a baking dish.

  2. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, salt, and black pepper.

  4. Rub both sides of the pork chops with olive oil, then evenly coat them with the seasoning mixture.

  5. Place the pork chops on the prepared baking sheet or dish.

  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

  7. For a golden top, broil for the last 2–3 minutes of cooking time (optional).

  8. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

  9. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.

Notes

  • Use an instant-read thermometer for best results—overbaking can dry out the pork.

  • Great with mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, or a side salad.

  • You can marinate the pork chops ahead of time in olive oil, garlic, and herbs for extra flavor.
