Ingredients
-
4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
-
2 tablespoons olive oil
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder
-
1 teaspoon onion powder
-
1 teaspoon paprika
-
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
-
1/2 teaspoon salt
-
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
-
Optional: fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or lightly grease a baking dish.
-
Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels.
-
In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
-
Rub both sides of the pork chops with olive oil, then evenly coat them with the seasoning mixture.
-
Place the pork chops on the prepared baking sheet or dish.
-
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
-
For a golden top, broil for the last 2–3 minutes of cooking time (optional).
-
Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
-
Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
Notes
-
Use an instant-read thermometer for best results—overbaking can dry out the pork.
-
Great with mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, or a side salad.
-
You can marinate the pork chops ahead of time in olive oil, garlic, and herbs for extra flavor.
