Baked Ham and Cheese Mozzarella Sticks are a delicious twist on the classic snack, combining savory ham and gooey mozzarella cheese wrapped in crispy golden crusts, perfect for party appetizers or quick bites.

- 12 mozzarella string cheese sticks
- 12 slices of deli ham
- 12 egg roll wrappers or wonton wrappers
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon water
- Cooking spray or olive oil for brushing
- Marinara or ranch dressing (for dipping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- If using, spread a small amount of Dijon mustard onto each ham slice.
- Wrap each mozzarella stick in a slice of ham.
- Place the ham-wrapped cheese diagonally on an egg roll wrapper.
- Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly. Seal the edge with a mixture of beaten egg and water.
- Place the sticks seam-side down on the baking sheet. Lightly spray or brush with oil.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden and crispy, turning once halfway through for even browning.
- Cool slightly before serving with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Freeze wrapped sticks before baking for 10-15 minutes to prevent cheese from oozing out.
- Substitute turkey or chicken slices for a different twist.
- Can be made ahead and reheated in an oven or air fryer.
