Bacon, egg, and cheese hand pies are savory, portable breakfast pastries made with puff pastry and a classic morning combo of crispy bacon, fluffy scrambled eggs, and melted cheese.

- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 3 large eggs
- 4 slices cooked bacon, chopped
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp milk
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- All-purpose flour, for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk 3 eggs with milk, salt, and pepper. Scramble in a nonstick pan over medium heat until just set. Let cool slightly.
- On a floured surface, roll out puff pastry and cut into 4 equal rectangles.
- Place a spoonful of scrambled eggs, bacon, and cheese on one half of each rectangle, leaving a border.
- Fold over the pastry to enclose filling and crimp edges with a fork to seal.
- Transfer to the baking sheet and brush tops with beaten egg.
- Cut a small slit on top of each hand pie for steam to escape.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes or until golden and puffed.
- Cool slightly and serve warm.
Notes
- Can be made ahead and reheated in the oven or air fryer.
- Substitute bacon with sausage or make vegetarian by omitting the meat.
- Perfect for grab-and-go breakfasts or brunch buffets.
