Description

This Bacon Cheeseburger Mac Wrap combines all the flavors of a classic bacon cheeseburger—savory beef, crispy bacon, creamy mac & cheese, and melty cheese—wrapped in a warm tortilla for the ultimate handheld meal! Perfect for quick dinners, meal prep, or game day snacks.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Cheeseburger Filling:

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef
  • 4 strips bacon, cooked & crumbled
  • 1/2 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional, for extra flavor)
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

For the Mac & Cheese:

  • 1 1/2 cups cooked elbow macaroni
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (or milk)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

For the Wraps:

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or American)
  • Pickles (optional, for crunch)

Instructions

1. Make the Cheeseburger Filling

  1. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika, cooking for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Stir in ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and crumbled bacon. Simmer for 2 minutes, then set aside.

2. Make the Mac & Cheese

  1. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in cream, cheese, garlic powder, and salt.
  2. Once melted and creamy, add cooked macaroni, stirring until well coated. Remove from heat.

3. Assemble the Wraps

  1. Warm tortillas slightly for easy folding.
  2. Layer each tortilla with cheeseburger filling, mac & cheese, extra shredded cheese, and pickles (if using).
  3. Fold the bottom, tuck in the sides, and roll tightly into a burrito-style wrap.

4. Toast & Serve

  1. Heat a dry skillet over medium heat and toast each wrap for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown.
  2. Slice in half and serve warm!

Notes

  • Make it spicy: Add hot sauce or jalapeños to the cheeseburger mix.
  • Use different cheeses: Try pepper jack, mozzarella, or smoked gouda for a twist.
  • Meal prep: Wraps can be made ahead and frozen for quick lunches—just reheat in a skillet or air fryer!
