Description

Tender caramelised beef tossed with ramen noodles and vegetables in a rich Asian-style sauce, perfect for a quick and delicious dinner.


Ingredients

  • 250g beef strips (flank or sirloin)
  • 2 packs instant ramen noodles (discard seasoning)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and chili flakes.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add beef strips and cook until browned and just cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  5. Add bell pepper and cabbage to the skillet. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Return the beef to the skillet, pour in the sauce, and toss to coat. Let it cook for another 2 minutes to caramelize.
  7. Add the cooked noodles and green onions. Toss everything together until heated through.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds.
