- 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 12 oz high-quality dark chocolate, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cubed
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- Flaky sea salt, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix chocolate cookie crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until combined.
- Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch tart pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then cool completely.
- Place chopped dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl.
- In a small saucepan, heat heavy cream over medium heat until it just begins to simmer. Pour over chocolate and let sit for 2-3 minutes.
- Add cubed butter and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth and glossy.
- Pour the ganache into the cooled tart crust and smooth the top.
- Chill the tart in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until set.
- Before serving, sprinkle flaky sea salt on top. Slice and enjoy!

- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
- For extra crunch, add chopped toasted nuts to the crust.
