Description
Air Fryer Tacos are a quick and crispy twist on traditional tacos, with seasoned meat and melted cheese wrapped in tortillas and air fried to golden perfection.

- 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 2/3 cup water
- 8 small flour or corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
- Cooking spray
- Optional toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, salsa
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground meat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and water, stir, and simmer until thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Spoon seasoned meat and shredded cheese onto one half of each tortilla. Fold over to close.
- Lightly spray both sides of the folded tacos with cooking spray.
- Place tacos in a single layer in the air fryer basket (cook in batches if needed).
- Air fry for 5–6 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden.
- Serve hot with desired toppings.
Notes
- Secure tacos with toothpicks if needed to keep them closed while cooking.
- Use leftover shredded chicken or beans for a vegetarian version.
- Warm tortillas briefly before assembling to prevent cracking.
