Scale
- 1 package (12 oz/340 g) refrigerated cheese ravioli (or your favorite filling)
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) milk
- 1 cup (100 g) Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup (25 g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Nonstick cooking spray
For Serving:
- Marinara or pizza sauce (for dipping)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Breading:
- In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
- In another bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and paprika.
2. Coat the Ravioli:
- Dip each ravioli in the egg mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated.
- Press the ravioli into the breadcrumb mixture, coating both sides evenly. Set aside on a plate.
3. Air Fry the Ravioli:
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
- Spray the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray. Arrange the breaded ravioli in a single layer, ensuring they don’t overlap. Spray the tops lightly with cooking spray for extra crispiness.
- Air fry for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
4. Serve:
- Remove the ravioli from the air fryer and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm with marinara or pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to the breadcrumb mixture.
- Use frozen ravioli if needed; just thaw them completely before breading.
- Leftovers can be reheated in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 3–4 minutes.
