Description

These Air Fryer Green Beans are crispy, flavorful, and ready in just 10 minutes! Perfect as a healthy side dish, snack, or appetizer, they’re lightly seasoned and air-fried to perfection. Serve them with your favorite dipping sauce for a delicious and guilt-free treat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz (340g) fresh green beans (trimmed)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (or avocado oil)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional, for extra flavor)
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional, for a slight smoky touch)
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for a little heat)
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for a cheesy finish)

Instructions

Step 1: Prep the Green Beans

  1. Wash and trim the ends of the green beans.
  2. Pat them completely dry with a paper towel to help them crisp up.

Step 2: Season the Green Beans

  1. In a large bowl, toss the green beans with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. If using, sprinkle with red pepper flakes for heat.

Step 3: Air Fry the Green Beans

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (195°C) for 2 minutes. (If your air fryer doesn’t require preheating, you can skip this step.)
  2. Spread the seasoned green beans in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  3. Air fry for 7-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until tender and crispy on the edges.

Step 4: Serve & Enjoy!

  1. Remove the green beans and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
  2. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce (ranch, garlic aioli, or spicy mayo).

Notes

  • Extra Crispy? Cook for an extra 1-2 minutes, but watch closely to prevent burning.
  • Dipping Sauce Ideas: Serve with honey mustard, ranch, or tzatziki for a fun twist!
  • Low-Carb/Keto Option: Skip the paprika and add grated Parmesan before air frying for a cheesy, crispy coating.
  • Make It Spicy: Add ½ tsp cayenne pepper for extra heat!
