Description

Air Fryer Bacon and Cheese Potato Slices are crispy potato rounds topped with melted cheese and savory bacon, cooked quickly in the air fryer. A perfect appetizer or snack that’s easy and crowd-pleasing.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 medium russet potatoes, sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (optional)
  • Sour cream for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, toss potato slices with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place potato slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and tender.
  4. Sprinkle cheese and bacon over each slice and return to the air fryer for 1-2 minutes until cheese is melted.
  5. Remove and garnish with green onions if desired. Serve warm with sour cream on the side.

Notes

  • Use parchment liners for easy cleanup.
  • Yukon gold potatoes can be substituted for russets.
  • Top with jalapeños or hot sauce for a spicy kick.
