Description

These individual 7 Layer Dip Cups are a fun twist on the classic party dip! Packed with layers of refried beans, guacamole, sour cream, salsa, cheese, olives, and green onions, they’re colorful, flavorful, and perfect for entertaining—no double-dipping here!

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz) can refried beans

  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning

  • 1 1/2 cups guacamole (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream

  • 1 cup chunky salsa or pico de gallo (drained slightly)

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or Mexican blend)

  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives

  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions

  • Tortilla chips, for serving

  • 8-10 small clear plastic cups (8 oz size)

Instructions

  • Season the beans:
In a bowl, mix the refried beans with the taco seasoning until well combined.

  • Layer the dip:
In each cup, spoon about 2 tablespoons of the seasoned beans into the bottom. Then layer the following (about 1–2 tablespoons per layer):

    • Guacamole

    • Sour cream

    • Salsa

    • Shredded cheese

    • Black olives

    • Green onions

  • Chill and serve:
Cover cups with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve with tortilla chips on the side or stick a few chips into each cup for a cute presentation.

Notes

  • Be sure to drain excess liquid from the salsa so the dip doesn’t get watery.

  • You can swap sour cream with Greek yogurt for a lighter option.

  • Want to make it spicier? Use hot salsa and pepper jack cheese!

  • These can be made a day ahead and kept covered in the fridge.
